AT FESTUBERT FAMILY PRACTICE

Festubert Family Practice will be closing as of Nov 30, 2025, when Dr. Barr and Dr. Cutt retire. As of December 1, 2025, Dr. Sahadevan and Dr. Watt will be relocating their practices to Terra Nova Duncan Medical Clinic at 291 Cowichan Way, Duncan, V9L 6P5 (inside Superstore).
Dr. Barr’s and Dr. Cutt’s patients have been provided the opportunity to see a nurse practitioner at the new Terra Nova Duncan Medical Clinic. If you wish to join this clinic it is suggested, you contact by email: newpatients@terranovamedical.ca This will provide you a link to the new Terra Nova Duncan clinic list. Please identify yourself as a previous client of Dr. Cutt or Dr. Barr. It is anticipated that you will be contacted by Terra Nova to book an appointment to meet your new provider.
Whether you choose to see the nurse practitioners at Terra Nova medical clinic or have found another provider. Medical records will be stored at MedRecords with the following information. It is suggested you sign a consent release form at your first appointment to have these records forwarded.

Dear valued Festubert patients,
We are pleased to share with you the changes that will be taking place at Festubert
Family Practice this fall. As of December 1, 2025 Dr. Watt and Dr. Sahadevan, together with their patients, will be moving to a new clinic in Duncan called Terra Nova. It is anticipated that some or all of the Festubert staff will be moving to the new clinic with them.
As you may be aware, Drs. Barr and Cutt plan to fully retire in December. A portion of their practices have already been transferred to Dr. Sahadevan and we were delighted to welcome Dr. Sahadevan to the Cowichan Valley as of September 1, 2025. Those patients who have not been transferred to Dr. Sahadevan will be given an opportunity to see a new primary care provider at the Terra Nova clinic after December 1, 2025. Details about how to transfer your medical record will be communicated later this fall.
Although we are saddened to see Festubert Family Practice close, we are excited about new beginnings and happy to be able to offer all our Festubert patients a primary care provider.

transition and look forward to providing continued care in our new medical home.
